Birgit Samson is a certified Coach in Business and Executive specialized in the development of leadership for individuals, executives and teams. At Oasys Consultants she has the role of Senior Consultant and Leadership Coach. She is also the Director of Oasys Executive.
Birgit began her professional career by hotel management studies followed by twelve years working in management positions in the hospitality industry, in Switzerland and abroad. Already at this stage, she was particularly interested in employees and ways of developing their competencies and performances. She then worked for eight years in an international group active in the Swiss market as a Franchise and Human Resources Consultant, where she acquired solid ongoing training as well as in-depth knowledge and experience in the sector of human resources management and the strategic development of performance management, skills management and fostering upcoming generations within an international environment.
In 2001, Birgit Samson joined an international consulting firm in the field of human resources management. She was responsible for implementing projects for client companies from all industrial sectors in the following areas: recruitment and selection of executives and leaders, the process of evaluating competencies as well as leading change management processes by means of coaching and executive coaching.
She coached many leaders and senior managers in career transition or personal assessment and supported them through Executive Coaching programs in reaching their ambitious professional goals. She also runs seminars related to leadership and personal development.
She is certified to use their analysis tools with OPQ32, Hogan Leadership Instruments, Insights and Profilscan and is in the benefit of an accreditation as Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with ICF (International Coach Federation).
Birgit’s mother tongues are French and German and she also speaks fluent English.
